From order to delivery – precise, structured, and reliable. WestCrown views the entire production process as a continuous value chain: clearly organized, technically sophisticated, and precisely executed. The combination of a stable raw material base, specialized cutting and deboning, and structured logistics makes our workflows predictable and secure.
Teams, technology, and processes work together seamlessly from order intake to processing and delivery – ensuring quality that arrives reliably.
European
Raw Material Network
Through Westfleisch and Danish Crown, we are closely connected to producers in Germany and Denmark. This ensures reliable raw material flows even in a tight market.
Digitally managed.
Safely cooled.
Our digitally guided registration and defined route and dock management are examples of how we design workflows to be process-optimized and predictable.
1. Registration
The pickup process begins with digital time-slot management. Carriers register in advance and receive confirmed slots, ensuring arrival times remain predictable and waiting times are significantly reduced.
2. Arrival
Upon entry, the vehicle is clearly assigned: guided routes, defined docks, and structured traffic management ensure safety and fast, smooth processing on the plant grounds.
3. Loading
Goods are staged without additional reloading. The direct connection between the freezing facility and the loading area keeps the cold chain stable, handling minimal, and staging precisely timed.
4. Departure
After loading, the driver receives all relevant documents digitally or physically. Complete documentation ensures traceability and facilitates processes for export, quality assurance, and logistics.
Integrated Freezer Facility
+ Less handling and no reloading
+ Shorter distances and fewer transport movements
+ Stable temperatures and a secure cold chain
+ Flexible and fast staging
Sustainability as a Competitive Advantage
For WestCrown, sustainability is not an add-on, but part of our operational logic.
At the Dissen site, energy generation and energy consumption are specifically interlinked.
The photovoltaic system generates electricity primarily during the summer months – exactly when the integrated freezing facility has the highest refrigeration demand. This synchronization reduces external power purchases, stabilizes energy use, and increases the efficiency of refrigeration.
The result is an energy symbiosis that is both ecologically sound and economically viable. For our customers, this means transparent measures that fulfill CSR requirements without complicating processes or shifting costs.
Sustainability at WestCrown is therefore not a promise, but a functioning system – measurable, predictable, and permanently effective.
